This project was extensive and posed many challenges due to confined spaces and hillside terrain. The back patio had not received attention for over 20 years. The original oversized water feature was removed, and all the random step stones hauled away. The patio area was re-graded and prepped for flagstone installation. Invasive Ficus roots from the neighbor’s trees were shaved down before an 80ft staggered IPE wood fence was installed. Original planters were rebuilt, extended, and enclosed in Sydney peak flagstone to match the floor area. A living wall of Tradescantia Zebrina was installed to the side of the ADU. Drip irrigation was added to service the plants. 7’W x 2’D redwood raised garden beds were added to the front top terrace of the home and the plant material was all replaced in the lower terrace and parkway. Irrigation and low voltage up lighting plus pathway lights for the staircase were also added. Multiple 15 gallon star jasmine plants were installed to large ceramic pots and attached to metal tension wires to screen off the south side of the home.
Our services include landscaping, hardscaping, low voltage lighting and irrigation systems. We also create custom fencing, gates, pergolas and decks.
